i think there are little bits of sam/jack in all seasons, but i think it was mostly in s4. i know in one of the season 6 eps when they were held captive for some reason, and sam put her head on jack's shoulder like she did in bts (which was also is s4). i thought that was kinda shippy

SG-1 just isn't a very shippy show. They put all the emphasis on the action/adventure aspect, and are very light on the interpersonal relationships. I mean, we can see that all the members of SG-1 are friends, but we only get very rare glimpses of them socializing outside of work, or even discussing anything outside of their Stargate adventures.

yeah. which can be a good and bad thing, coz i would realy like to see some evolution in the sam/jack area, and someone for daniel, and most all romance ideas are forgotten.

I hear that idea basically gets screwed over in season 7. And, yes, I am just a little bit bitter, because I loved the Jack/Sam friendship and the idea of them falling in love is just so very, very wrong to me. Also, why is it that you can't just have guys and girls together without them pairing up, one way or the other?

And if it takes away from the Jack/Daniel friendship, I'm gonna....

A bit of news for the North Americans in the thread: amazon.ca (though apparently not amazon.com) recently slashed the prices on Stargate SG-1 S1-S3 DVD boxed sets. You can buy each for CDN $34.49 (normally $45.99) - I ordered S2 and S3 myself.

I�m a Stargate fan (duh!), and I usually suck when I�m supposed to introduce myself. I�m from Germany where the beer is cold and soccer sucks.
There isn�t much to tell about me. I�m plain and boring. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

My favourite character on the show is definitely Jack. I just love his sarcasm and I love his friendship with Daniel. They just have awsome chemistry. And they shared some good lines on the show as well.
For example, in that episode from season two, ONE FALSE STEP, where their UAV crashes on that planet where these sound sesitiv, half naked aliens live...Daniels accuses Jack of being to sarcastic or something along the lines and Jack answers:You want sarcasm?- Nice to meet you!
I thought it was just hilarious.

But I also like Teal'c and his sense of humour.
I think the whole cast fits together really well.

BTW, they revealed the new Stargate:Atlantis cast.
You can find the info here at Gateworld.net. I�m not sure I like who they choose for that spin-off.

that's what makes the show so good. i would probably stop watching if they got into the relationship side of things. like in soap operas. i hate that [img]smilies/mad.gif[/img]

it is after all a sci-fi show so there is no need for any relationship stuff [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Their discovery leads to a daring expedition to the distant Pegasus galaxy, where they encounter a primitive human civilization and a sinister new enemy that threatens human life everywhere.

Flanigan will play Maj. John Sheppard, a courageous and gifted pilot, while Higginson will portray Dr. Elizabeth Weir, head of the mission and a diplomatic relations specialist. Rounding out the cast are Francks as Lt. Aiden Ford, an enthusiastic young officer who becomes Sheppard�s second-in-command, Hewlett, reprising his Stargate SG-1 recurring role as astrophysicist Dr. Rodney McKay, and Luttrell as Teyla, a beautiful young leader among the primitive alien civilization that the Atlantis team encounters. hmm. thanks for posting that. i don't know how good it will be, it seems like they're just retelling the same tale, but with different people. but it could be ok, i guess. i'll just have to wait and see it for myself (if we ever get it in Aust!)

Okay, so she wants one of him in like a green hat or something [img]smilies/look.gif[/img] Anyone know? One in his uniform, and one of him wearing a leather jacker. Can anyone help me out?
