Good. It's overdue time that franchise was abandoned.

^^ I agree.

It's been redone too many times.

Unfortunately they're also rebooting the Spider-Man franchise...again.

From a business perspective, though, bond films made sense. They were cheaper to make and always made huge amounts of cash.

Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about teenagers with sharp teeth.
Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.

I preferred the latter Bond films, starring Daniel Craig over the Pierce Brosnan ones though.

I wish a theme park would be built that is 'Middle Earth'.

The last actor to do a passable Bond was Dalton. But the franchise has always been dumb and sexist. Craig gave the character zero humanity and Brosnan's performances were just bland.

I was never a fan of the older Bond's, Craig was the only one that caught my attention, but I also think that is because the movies he did were not cheesy, where some of the older ones were just bad for that.

Anyway, back on topic to Middle Earth.

If you could really visit Middle Earth, where would you like to start?

From what I saw of Craig Bond films, the Craig ones are cheesy too. I find it hard to watch Craig Bond films. He's so unrelatable in the role.

Do you mean his portrayal of Bond was unrelatable or the actor himself?

I did find he seemed really...emotionless at times, like a constant poker face.

I can't even stand the Dalton Bond films. Roger Moore was the last decent Bond. The rest just seemed to cheese up the role

The actor played the role in such a way as to make the character unrelatable.

I can't think of any Bond films that weren't cheesy. It was cheesy long before Dalton. Moore was likable, but he made a joke out of the role. He was certainly not superior to Dalton in the role. The only actor who did anything actually impressive with the role was Connery.

I did like Connery in the role.

But it's also been re-made so many times it's like, find something original to work with.

I'm not sure if I'd want to visit Middle Earth. They probably don't have any toilet paper.
