After the last episode i now know why Mitchell has his hair slicked down all the time

Was also cool seeing Herick again even if it was just a flash-back.

Hmmm, been seeing the promos for season 2 on BBCA but no exact date. However, I just popped over to the BBCA website and found this:

Season Premiere - Saturday, July 24th
Mark your calendars - the new season premieres on BBC AMERICA right after the Doctor Who finale.

Is that still a possibility? I will probably give it a look-see as long as it is on a channel I get.

Yep.

I just realized the BBCA premiere date is bad for me so I will have to make sure my DVR is set up correctly. Honestly, I do not watch anything live anymore so it really does not make a difference.

I only get 2 live things now...Nurse Jackie and Tara. Everything else is delayed by several days.

Glad you have a start date for season 2.

If they do make an American version of the show, don't know if i'd want to watch it. Don't see why you have to do a remake when there is a perfectly good original one.

While I am not on the "remake anything and everything" bandwagon, I can understand why some are made. In the case of Being Human, moving the story from the U.K. to the U.S. could change the situations enough to make them interesting in a new way due to the differences in our attitudes, etc. Of course, it is equally likely that it will be duller than dull.

I'm going to watch this show. I'm into vampire shows. The vampire is acted by an Irish actor.

I'm not against the US remaking British shows, because American tv is usually better than British tv. In fact, the only British regular tv series I can think of that I really liked is the modern Doctor Who show before it went down the crapper (some others were ok). But I'm still open to giving them a chance, hence trying Being Human. I think it's ridiculous how British shows so often have seasons like 6 episodes long.
