Not technically. Official rules of the Buffyverse say vampires without a soul are by nature evil. He just had an inordinate amount of humanity for an evil vampire. The AR was supposed to show that he was still evil, but it mainly just showed that the writers weren't very good.

Twilight isn't about vampires, it's about teenagers with sharp teeth.
Vampires don't "sparkle" in the sun: they screech in horror, burst into flame and wither to ash.

So, less than a month until the second season (series) premiers on BBCA. Of course, I won't be able to watch it until at least a week later, but still. Something to look forward to.

Not sure what i think about the US remake, i could understand it if the original was no longer in production, but while its still going. Why not just stick with the original.

Generally speaking, most of the BBC shows aren't good for American consumption, two different types of viewers.

Look at the difference between both Office shows.

I love this series. It's great - all of the main characters are amazing (my favourite being George). It's a really enjoyable show, can't wait for the third series.

The original is Ricky Gervais, which isn't good.

But if British shows are no good for US viewers then why are you so into Demons?

Btw, did I say, I finally returned to Hex and watched therough the whole first season. Shallow show with a lack of characters you really care for. And I didn't appreciate the repeated sexist misandry. In the second season they kiled off the main character and probably got even worse. I'm pretty sure they kept that annoying ghost sidekick around. I don't see how or why it got a second season.

Directv's channel 101 has been airing the first season of Being Human so I have rewatched the first two episodes. I was kind of hoping the original pilot/movie/miniseries (whatever it was) would also be shown, but no luck there. They have, however, included some longer promos for the upcoming season 2. Also, I had forgotten that each episode was longer than the 42 or so minutes (not including commercials) of most American shows.

I didn't say i was the average american viewer. there are plenty of english offerings that i watch.

As for Hex, it was ok. I liked the story more than the characters, and the second season really turned me off of it

Mitchell is good. A genuine Irish vampire. Unlike Angel, a fake Irish vampire.

God Angel's Irish accent was awful, I literally cringed every time I heard it. Now Mitchell's voice I could listen to all day long.

So you figure you're not the standard American barbarian?

Well season 2 sounded like crap, even more than season 1 was.
