You called that at the beginning of the season BEFORE the season started and you were completely correct.

I overrated them and you knew that the Pacers wouldn't be as good.

It's about time I finally predicted something correctly- the rest of my Eastern predictions are a mess atm! Overrating teams like the Pistons and Knicks... But the problem wasn't getting rid of a top 5 coach- which is a massive problem in itself- but I kinda get the logic of getting a fresh voice, so if they had gotten Mark Jackson or Brian Shaw or David Blatt or Mike D'Antoni or whoever- that would have been fine, though still a backwards step from Vogel. But the fact is, promoting the assistant to head coach is not a fresh voice- in fact promoting an assistant coach rarely works because they are too friendly with the players as there he is like a friendly bridge between player and head coach so it was a completely baffling appointment and the reasons didn't even make sense so I just never thought it was going to work, despite the roster improvement.

I guess... But outside of the 96 Rockets, no side has won the title outside of the top 5, and I'm not convinced a half healthy- currently still injured- Blake Griffin led side can keep the Clippers in the hunt for a top 3 playoff seeding. If we can't overtake the Rockets, it may be better to slip down to 6th to avoid the Warriors until the last possible moment, but I'm just gutted as I love watching CP3. He's the best athlete I've seen in person, and I'm going out to LA in March for the Clippers vs Celtics game and he may well miss it now which is very disappointing... It would be 6 and a half weeks away and he's out for 6-8 weeks so he'll likely miss it

Sadly even if the Clippers were healthy, I felt (if healthy) we will get a 3rd consecutive Finals repeat.
Cavs have a cakewalk.
Warriors are the best of the West.....

I guess we'll see what happens when we see the matchups.

Still, I'm glad that DeAndre Jordan has (Finally) made an all star team... 100% deserved. Hopefully he'll do the dunk contest as he's said that he would only do the dunk contest if he was an all star...
