Madison coming back was true and I definitely hope we see it on the DVD too. If you find the "Foreverwood" promo on youtube, you'll see a very quick clip of Madison returning. With dark hair!

None of the writers or producers have ever brought it up. There's no source on the Wikipedia page either. It's just...there. It's a fan making up an ending that they'd like to see.
