"I wanted to see you.
To know that you're more than just a memory. And to tell you that I kept my promise. You didn't keep yours. You promised me you'd be here... in Everwood. But, you're not." "I've got bad news for you, Andy, you're gonna be fine." "Fine is not great." "You've had enough of "Great". It isn't all it's cracked up to be. Fine is real." |

"The Great Doctor Brown" was directed by the Oscar winning actress Kathy Bates, by the way.
I just loved that final scene with Julia at the table. So sweet, so sad, so Everwood. Yes, I'm cheesy. I loved Andy having to put up his hand to get a word in edgewise with Mrs. Violet: Quote:

For "Friendly Fire", I loved the real introduction of obnoxious and clueless Andy. I loved Delia trying to find a friend, which was so adorable. And Ephram's reactions to Nina delivering the baby was hilarious stuff. __________________

The Everwood Rewatch Fest: "The Great Doctor Brown" (S1, Ep. 2)
We'll keep this up for four days and then go on to the next episode. After you've watched the episode, you can comment on it anyway you'd like, big or small. You can focus on certain characters, scenes, quotes, or the episode as a whole. You can tie the episode to the rest of the series, or comment about it as a self-contained episode. It's all up to you! You can always give your thoughts after the four day period, as all rewatch threads will stay open for more thoughts and anymore discussion. Thanks!

I have been busy this week participating in seders with my Jewish friends and this weekend getting ready to celebrate Easter with my family. I'm definitely going to watch epidode 2 the beginning of next week....I'm sure all the others who showed interest in starting this thread will be posting (like crazy) at that time!
So, let's extend this round. |

Good idea, Betty. I'll keep this up basically as long as it has to be to get some good participation. I know people are busy and have other things to do, so we'll extend this one for sure.

Boy, that person. Little did they know what they were doing!
An extension sounds good; I hope to finally get to the Pilot tomorrow, and I may as well just watch "The Great Doctor Brown" right after, and then maybe I can finally make myself useful for the discussion. __________________
