Season 9 will start in the US on September 20th, we won't know about when it will start here until September, when Channel Ten will announce the starting dates for the new seasons of shows. I don't know why it takes them so long to release those dates for us, but they do. Presumably we will be about two weeks behind, so it will start October 4th, but we won't know for sure until about September. I don't know when TV Week tells you, or what it tells you. But
TV Tonight is a good site to check for updates about when shows are starting (or being pulled out of schedules which often happens here too
