Given the break the recap was helpful but normally don't care for them
Interesting move by Julian putting that video out. Wonder how that goes with them being considered dead... surely people who knew them before now realise that their death was faked?
I don't like the sound of the potion. Spreading a disbelief of magic sounds risky to me. At least they seem to have not gone through with that one. A shame for Julian that his Aunt tricked him. Looks like they've at least removed one threat here
Chilled out Mel
at least Maggie's mistakes led them somewhere as otherwise these parts were a bit random
Macy & Harry had a good talk but don't know if this takes them anywhere yet
Makes sense Jordan has to balance the scales by saving a descendant to break the curse. Glad the ghost was willing to tell him that. The sideplot, although interesting, is distracting from the story. On the other hand I think I prefer it to what else is happening. There feels like more action in those scenes. Having someone trapped in a painting is a storyline the original show had
. There being a sister is an interesting twist... I'm thinking the woman at the end with Julian's Aunt may end up being the sister...
Overall the episode was a bit slow for me. It doesn't translate into a good season premiere I don't think, but its understandable given they're trying to wrap up the storylines. Plus they can only do so much. It seemed like everyone was mainly in a bubble of two for the majority of the episode. At least it wasn't obviously done that way as that can be normal for this show, but I'm going to presume this was also a covid thing.

What happened with Jimmy? I was a bit confused. It looked like the potion he took also is affecting others?

It is. They gave him the potion they were going to give to Julian. But instead of telling the world that magic isn't real its telling the world that Jimmy is a good man. This way he can live a life without his past deeds haunting him & hopefully have a good life. He's hopefully now free
