What did everyone else think? Favorite parts?

Mine, personally, was seeing Aalya....and the battle scenes....and watch the masters try to arrest sidious.

Aalya? That's the blue Twilek(sp?) Right? She was hot! Who plays her?

The trailer was one of the best ever. I really believe that this film will be the greatest of all the StarWars movies.

My favortie parts:

When they tried to arrest Sidious. Wow, he just leaped into action. Wow!
Anakin walking with the army of Clones behind him... talk about trouble.
Seeing Yoda in trouble against Sidious... I can't wait to see what Sidious can do knowing how powerful he is...
When Obi-Wan said "You were the chosen one!" and hearing Sidious state that all Jedi are now enemies of the Republic.

I'm going to watch the trailer again right now.....

ETA: Please tell me someone is going to have some caps for the trailer?

I thought it was good.

I loved the shot of Anakin with the troops behind him...the way he was walking. Very Vader-ish.

I believe this movie will be the best of the three prequels.

If this movie is as good as the trailer it will blow the Original Trilogy out of the water as well as the other prequels!!!!

I also agree. I think it took GL a while to figure out how to make a good film using all the technology and still have "heart in the movie" as well. Although, I thought that Attack of the Clones was pretty good.

I really liked the last shot...Darth Vader in the suit!!! Finally!!!

I was bad. I promised myself from the moment after I first saw AOTC in theaters that I would wait and not be spoiled for ROTS but I broke that.

He was so hot in that trailer!!! I literally was drooling all over the place

Overall the rest of the trailer was great. Palpatine, man did he look evil or what? And I thought that Darth Maul was the worst it could get, I guess I was wrong. The battle scenes are going to be amazing!

I'm still skeptical because the whole point of a trailer is to make the final product look good.

This one mostly concentrates on the more visceral images (battles; spaceships; lightsabers) and the parts that are actually spoken aren't that "deep" if you're a SW fan.

The one part I wish they would get rid of is the whole "There are always two. A master and an apprentice" because that is something that the true Sith didn't have according to the EU and other sources.

I also hope they get into who the Sith really are and not just Sidious is the "bad guy" because he is taking over the Republic. The origins of the Sith and why they hate the Jedi are much deeper and complex than that and I fear GL has once again decided to give us space battles and CGI instead of characterization as far as motivation to why the Sith want to destroy the Repulic as such.

Also...

The similarities to what is going on with the United States and the Republic in this film are frighteningly too real for me...

I'm downloading the preview, but I'm not going to watch it yet. I'm gonna go see Robot's tonight and see it on the big Screen.

I particularily can't wait to see it, because I was down at SkyWalker Ranch like a month ago and met the guy who was putting it together. He's a hilarious guy!

I don't know the history of the Sith or why they hate the Jedi. However, I don't think we will ever see it in a film. The most I would hope for is for them to make a game like KOTOR from that storyline.

Aalya is indeed the blue twi'lek...she's played by Amy Allen, I Can put a picture up of her, if you'd like. I won't mind.

I loved the trailer...it is everything I hoped for. All the conflict...how it all comes to a head, how it all ends, how everyone dies. To see the storm troopers, the marching....the ship to ship combat...

Watching turbo-lasers target turbo-lasers and blow them away....I can't even catch my breathe.

My favorite part Obi-One, he is the man, fighting agains General Grievous
when Sidiouss said that all Jedi are now enemies of the Republic' and Obi-One is surrounded by storm troopers, wow he definitively has to kick their asses
the Jedis in trouble, that blue twi'lek looks so cool and the wookies also
Anakin is such a bad ass walking with the troopers, aahhhh everything was SO awesome!

So, as with the first RotS trailer, my local theater found out their going to be getting it late. Maybe durring the weekend, maybe not until next week.

So i watched it on Hyperspace, and thought it was awesome! Obi-wan's hurt tone and expression as he yelled 'You were the chosen one!'

There seems to be so much emotion in this movie. I wouldn't be surpirsed if people left theaters in a hushed sort of atmosphere. At least for a minute or two until they start recalling everything and start disecting it.
