I watched some of ROTS today and man, Hayden's acting was so wooden, and his delivery of that line was awful in my opinion, but to each their own. :)

Yes, it was certainly darker. Also, there was less romance. Romance in general can be cheesy.

That's true, they did well with the Anidala marriage (apart from the ending ofc) which was nice.

Hayden was in my dream last night. We kept switching movie theaters and I kept trying to sit next to him, but would always bet a few rows, or seats away. And at one point he was being interviewed while on a movie set. But the movie set was also a movie theater.
