I managed to find the movie online so I re-watched it on Friday afternoon

the amount of 90s nostalgia is strong whenever I watch this movie

the first scene where we’re first introduced to young Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon and their relationship I love and the lightsaber action



really like Anakin’s mom and it makes it so much harder when she dies in the 2nd movie

I always love watching the pod racing scene

and the Duel of the Fates and Anakin’s theme scores I love

I like the foreshadowing with Vader’s breathing at the very end of the end credits

love the final battle between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon facing off against Darth Maul and Darth Maul’s entrance is so epic/badass especially with the music

the only scene I don’t really care for is the battle with the gungans and the droid army (I find it detracts from the excitement of the other main battle that I really want to see with the cutting back and forth)

overall I really enjoyed my re-watch

That's probably my favorite scene of the whole movie! I wish they had kept Maul around for longer.

Yes! I think he should've been the main villain of the prequels to be honest, not just for this movie.
