Well ... what did I think of this expensive fan fiction? It was way better than The Last Jedi. Still I like The Force Awakens a bit better. Only because the ending of The Rise of Skywalker was very long and drawn out. I was getting frustrated and looking at my watch. There were parts I enjoyed but there are some plot holes, in my opinion, and inconsistent aspects. I miss George Lucas. His films were consistent with each other. This Sequel Trilogy (I am calling it the Fan Fiction Trilogy) feels like a mish mosh of 3 different films. The makers should have sat down and planned it all out from the get go. Not each director/writer doing their own thing. It truly feels like J.J. Abrams started his own movie, then Rian Johnson did his own thing completely off course, and then Abrams went back to finish his own story.
I am going to break this up into things I liked, things I disliked and things I hated it.
Spoiler:
I am so glad this mess is over. (I would love to know what were George's plans for 7, 8, and 9.) I am sticking to the Original and Prequel Trilogies, and Rogue One. Solo wasn't bad either. *Next I'll check out The Mandalorian and rewatch The Clone Wars. Last edited by BehrItAll; 12-28-2019 at 01:59 PM |

I saw the new movie on Christmas. I enjoyed watching it but I found it confusing and a bit of a mess.

I'd give it 7/10. Can't give it more cause I'm a bit bias and so not happy they've killed off my boy.

I'd give it a 4 out of 10.
And I don't even rank it with the others because it's just so fan fiction-y. |

Glad that they addressed the lack of Rose and what they say about her/Leia makes sense would believe it would have been near impossible working wth old footage related to Leia

But also, why not give her something else to do? Why box her in at the base? Someone said why not have her go into 3PO's head to get the translation? Why did they have to go to Babu Frik?
I am posting this here because it is RoS news but, it makes me Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: Abrams says Anakin was the Chosen One but the balance wasn’t forever Quote:
