Ewan goes nuts in "TV Eye"

Is "Gimme Danger" the one where he took his pants off? Or was that TV Eye?

It has been so long since I saw the movie.

Anakin - and to an extent Ahsoka - value personal loyalty over loyalty to an institution, such as the Jedi/Republic. Or at the very least in Ahsoka’s case, she believes individuals should not come at the expense of preserving said institutions. (For those of you familiar with Star Trek, Obi definitely upholds the Vulcan philosophy that “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one.”)

I loved the moment where Bo-Katan basically called Obi-Wan out on that mindset re: Satine, and Anakin’s expression here. He’s reminded that Obi-Wan does not value personal loyalty/devotion the same way he does, and it reinforces why - even though Anakin knows that Obi-Wan knows SOMETHING is between him and Padmé - Anakin tragically feels unable to confide in him about his visions of her. Obi-Wan chose to walk away from the woman he loved, and was unable to prevent her death - utter anathema to Anakin. No wonder he feels he can’t/won’t trust Obi-Wan.

That's an accurate insight about Obi wan, he is more for the Jedi cause than his own personal wants or needs. It's really sad.

I think a big factor is that he was raised in the Temple since he was a baby and Anakin was not.

I think that's true, plus Anakin was raised as a slave and he was separated from his mother and unable to prevent her death, so he had an overwhelming desire for power that Obi-Wan didn't have.

That animation looks interesting. Though I haven't watched an episode yet.

I hadn't seen this footage in a long while either.
TV Eye is where he moons the fans.

That would make a lot more sense. They essentially were raised differently so their views would be different sometimes opposing.

How did I miss this before?

I also don't think the Jedi knew how to properly help Anakin overcome the emotional scaring of being a slave.

I feel like he should have been an exception to their rules and allowed to see his mother and maybe even set her free so he wouldn't have felt guilty leaving her behind.

I completely agree with this. If he had been allowed to do that, or if Obi-Wan and/or the Jedi helped him to do that, Palpatine wouldn't have been able to manipulate his fear of losing someone else that he loved to turn him to the Dark Side of the Force.

Yes. But I also think that because of the way the Jedi are raised that they were very unequipped to know how to do so. Or, I think they felt their methods were the way to heal Anakin.

But they were too arrogant to see that they were wrong when it wasn't working.

I think Qui-Gon, being a bit more rebellious, might have been a better teacher.
