This is just my opinion, but I don't expect to hear much of anything of Luke's love life unless he's Rey's father. At least not in the movies. I think the focus for the backstory would more about his Jedi Temple and what he and Ben were doing while traveling.

If he's not Rey's father, any potential signifcant other he may have had would be explored in comics and/or novels. If it doesn't tie into the Jedi Temple/Ben/Snoke/what he found to do with the Jedi past, I can't see them taking the time to go over it in the films, especially if it doesn't have anything to do with the current storyline/how he got where he is or with Rey herself.

We'll agree to disagree, I think that if it has something to do with his isolation/exile, it doesn't have to do anything with Rey, but it can be something that connects him with Rey emotionally during their training (since she has no family or her family might be dead0 and pulls him out of his funk.

That's the thing, I completely don't believe in that theory, so it's gonna be funny looking back Regardless of whether it's true or not. It caused so much discussion, it shows what an amazing movie they did and what a great trilogy they're building.

I always believed in that theory. It just made sense to me that the new trilogy would focus on Luke's offspring. Really Star Wars is just about the Skywalkers, and everyone else is caught in the crossfire of the Skywalker family drama wars.

I definitely think it's possible (I came out of the movie thinking that), it's just not on the top of my list right now as far as all the theories go.

After what Ridley said about Rey&Kylo, I do believe they're setting up The Cousins Wars. Kylo made a huge mistake when he killed Han.
