Let's get back to the nerdiness.

Nerdiness, let's do it.

The Death Star countdown is NOT ACCURATE! It says 15 minutes, but it's at least 20!

FreedomsBullets 09-27-2010 04:00 PM

Have you actually checked?

BehrItAll 09-27-2010 06:56 PM

I did once. The timing is off.

FreedomsBullets 09-27-2010 08:00 PM

That's funny.

BehrItAll 09-27-2010 08:41 PM

 You know when you have seem something so many times and know it by heart and you start to look for things you never noticed before. ;)

The thing to do is watch a bit of an OT film and then immediately switch to some of one of the later two prequels. The difference is shocking. The two sets of films operate based on totally opposed mentalities.

 Especially really obscure things.

BehrItAll 09-28-2010 06:32 PM

Have you done that Sum?

Juli, yea. It's a especially fun with Moulin Rogue.

sum1 09-28-2010 08:40 PM

Of course I have or I wouldn't be recommending it.

BehrItAll 09-28-2010 09:35 PM

At what points do you switch?

sum1 09-28-2010 10:22 PM

Various.

Yes. Is that sad?

Also, why is Biggs called Biggs? He's not in the "six and a half foot or more" range.

Spoiler from a 1977 starwars.com blog posting: "Red Leader is Luke's father!"

FreedomsBullets 09-29-2010 12:36 PM

Jon, well since you and Steph both did I guess it's not.

My nerdiness for today: I was sitting in my Chinese philosophy class mentally comparing Mencius Confucianism to the Jedi philosophy, and they match up a LOT.

Do you remember a specific point where you switched and noticed differences?
