The sad thing is that they alienate themselves. They say they're "done" with the franchise, okay well bye then :sadwave: but they're not, it's just talk, they'll keep coming back and claiming that they're disappointed with the new ones... It's just boring at this point. :blah:

Everytime someone says something about leaving the fandom, I'm always like "Well, what's stopping you? I'm not gonna miss you." :P they act as if the fandom is built or their presence and that they are somehow important :D

The line should be drawn at Kelly feeling forced to delete her instagram. That's why I hope JJ says something on her and Daisy's behalf about it next year at the convention, perhaps. I want it to be brought to people's attention that these movies are supposed to be entertaining, not persuading people to incite hatred.

Yeah, I guess a things like that should be addressed at some point. They need to know that their behaviour is not okay, eventhough I don't think it will change much unfortunately :( Those people can't seem to see their mistakes.

I would just like the SW crew to make it known that they're aware of the negative things being said and they're not happy with it, and they're not letting it ruin their vision for these movies. :nod:


I get really sick and tired of seeing FinnReys attack Rose and Kelly for "stealing" screen-time with him. For heaven's sake - Finn and Rey are friends who have only just met. His scenes with Rose brought him to a whole new environment in which he learned the meaning of sacrifice and bravery.

It says a lot that Finn made his biggest progress only after he met Rose :nod:




I know that people like to use the Finn and Poe scene, but this FinnRose scene parallels Han/Leia too :D :love:

By the way, this thread caught my eye on twitter and it's a great read (it's heavily centered on Kelly's decision to leave Instagram) -

Also both Leia and Rose are giving Han and Finn hard time about wanting to leave the fight go live their lives away from it.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not going anywhere, either :hippie: But I've seen Ohtze in the fandom ever since TFA came out and to see her feel so passionately about this subject matter really tells me that I'm not imagining how bad this hatred is from the antis and I can understand why people are feeling it's time for a break.

To be honest, though, I think it would give a stronger impression for us all to stay in this fandom, and to let the antis know they won't gain the higher ground with their petty hate. :pirate:

To be true, it really doesn't affect me that much, because I spent most of the time on this forum, I have a personal account on Twitter, but I don't engage actively in SW fandom there. So it never happened to me personally that I would get attacked or bullied. But I guess it must be hard for people actively engaging in SW conversations on Twitter or somewhere else.

^ I usually only engage with them on social media when I feel it's necessary to intervene on somebody's behalf :nod: When you see antis say the most ridiculous things to innocent people, and you wonder why they're following people who they make fun of, it irritates me.

That's what I find the most ridiculous. Some of these "fans" follow Reylo shippers or other shippers or character stans they hate just so they could harrass them and tell them how much they hate them and how stupid they are for liking it :crazy: and the cherry on top is when I see these people complaining about posts with these ships or characters showing up on their TL :rotfl:

Exactly. There's a certain shipper (I won't name names) who keeps posting stuff like they would rather Rose would die so that Finn and Rey can be together and I just... :facepalm:
