Toy Story #8: "YOU. ARE. A. TOY!!!" ~ Woody

But, what do the toys do when Andy is not with them, they come to life. Woody believes that he has life (as a toy) good. However, he must worry about Andy's family moving, and what Woody does not know is about Andy's birthday party. Woody does not realize that Andy's mother gave him an action figure known as Buzz Lightyear, who does not believe that he is a toy, and quickly becomes Andy's new favorite toy. Woody, who is now consumed with jealousy, tries to get rid of Buzz. Then, both Woody and Buzz are now lost. They must find a way to get back to Andy before he moves without them, but they will have to pass through a ruthless toy killer, Sid Phillips. More special than all the others Andy gave her? What? And tell me, a fork isn't a toy. How does he come to life? Just 'cause she gave it eyes and a mouth. I guess that works. :shrug: And Bo seems sooo different, even when she's in her original attire. But then, wasn't she originally a porcelain doll? She can't be the same Bo as in the original. I dunno. This just doesn't feel like Toy Story to me. I wasn't going to see more until it comes out, but I saw the trailer on youtube and automatically clicked out of curiosity. :lol: I literally stared at it looking really perplexed.

it does seem odd and at some point it looks like Woody is considering not going back to Bonnie...again? like, we've already been through that that a toy's job is to make their owner happy and now he thinks about leaving, it's strange.
I don't mind the forky thing, he looks funny:lol: and very paranoid, but the rest we'll have to see |
I wasn't feeling the trailer either, I agree it feels off and odd. They should of stopped after Toy Story 3, it was the perfect trilogy. I hope this doesn't turn into the "Cars" entry in the TS series.

Glad I'm not alone on this! Hopefully, the film will be a surprise and we'll like it more than we think we will. But at the moment...yeah. I agree, Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending to the trilogy.
