I haven't actually read much of the literature, but I do love some of the movies. The whole story of cinderella is so magical, I can't help but love it!

I agree. It's one of the most famous fairytales in the world, with so many variations of it. I haven't read much literature, either, but I've seen several versions of it in movies and such. They're all wonderful in their own way.

I agree that Cinderella is a magical tale. It used to be my favorite fairy tale when I was younger. The last movie I saw based on it was Ever After, with Drew Barrymore, and I loved it.

I have seen it too! Drew Barrymore is perfect in the roll of Cinderella. I was charmed with the movie, but the classical is better, indeed.

Ooh, I adore Ever after, I think that's probably one of my favourite version of it, besides the original Disney one.

Ever After's probably my favorite Cinderella story too...because it's completely realistic and yet still has a bit of magic at the same time because the magic in it isn't like pixie dust or anything, it's just the magic the characters create themselves.

yeah, exactly! That's probably why I like that one the best too. It seems like something than can happen, it's realistic.

I was shocked when I read one of the versions....I'm not sure if it's the Grimm Brothers' one The evil sisters cut their own heels so they fit into those slipers.
It's kind of creepy when you think that's supposed to be a tale for children. |

Cinderella is a classic and is probably one of the first movies, maybe second, that I ever saw. I actually think Sleeping Beauty was my first.
Any way, I still, and always will, love Cinderella. I like the mice. Gus is my favorite, but I forget the name of the other one. I also thought that Ever After was a great movie. Drew Barrymore is my favorite actress and she did an amazing job. |
