Could Disney make something set in space to get people excited for a better future for humanity?
I was disappointed when Amazon announced it stopped working on a series based on Iain M. Banks Culture series.
https://www.theverge.com/2020/8/26/2...nsider-phlebas Could Disney make something set in space and put it on ABC when Agents of Shield ends? Maybe something that is like Mass Effect. That series of video games had a lot of family drama in it amidst a world of political intrigue and intergalactic war. Last edited by CmdrShep; 10-22-2020 at 03:51 PM |

Interesting speculation! This could go in one of the general discussion threads, but I'll leave this one like it is for now.
I think Disney's Treasure Planet was set in space, and Lilo & Stitch had space elements too. They also own Star Wars. And then there's The Right Stuff on Disney+. I don't know much about it but I believe it's based on true stories in space. __________________

Interesting speculation indeed.
I don’t remember much about Treasure Planet, I only saw it once but I think it was set in space. __________________
