[My Kind Of Crazy]

The Story:
The story of Peter Pan is based in London where George and Mary Darling live with their three children Wendy, John and Michael along with their dog Nana. One night, as John and Michael play out their games of Peter Pan and Captain Hook, inspired by Wendy’s bedtime stories. George decides it is time that Wendy has a room of her own, but on her last night in the Nursery, they are visited by Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.
With a little bit of pixie dust, Peter and Tinkerbell take Wendy, John and Michael back to Never Land, where Captain Hook is plotting against Peter. A callous trick by the jealous Tinkerbell which puts Wendy is danger sees Peter banish her ‘forever’.
After the mermaids attempt to drown Wendy, she has second thoughts about being in Never Land, however when she and Peter see that Tiger Lily has been caught by Captain Hook, they rush to save her. Hook manipulates the jealous Tinkerbell into revealing Peter’s location. Wendy decides it’s time to return home and persuades the Lost Boys to join them, leaving Peter all alone. However, in the process they are caught by the pirates. Tinkerbell rushes to save Peter and soon enough they head off to save Wendy and the boys.
Hook and the Pirates flee after a humiliating battle with Peter, the Lost Boys decide to stay in Never Land while Wendy, John and Michael return to London. The movie ends with George seeing the Peter and the pirate ship in the clouds and he fondly remembers his own childhood.

The History:
The 1953 Disney film is based on the play by J.M Barrie and despite initially being intending to be Disney’s second film, Peter Pan actually became the fourteenth animated classic.

I agree, Peter Pan is one of those movies there are a million versions of. We know the story, what more is there to say and do? lol.
