The Hunchback of Notre Dame #7: If I picked a day to fly, this would be it!
Welcome to the 7th The Hunchback of Notredame Appreciation Thread x In 15th century Paris, Clopin the puppeteer tells the story of Quasimodo, the misshapen but gentle-souled bell ringer of Notre Dame, who was nearly killed as a baby by Claude Frollo, the Minister of Justice. But Frollo was forced by the Archdeacon of Notre Dame to raise Quasimodo as his own. Now a young man, Quasimodo is hidden from the world by Frollo in the belltower of the cathedral. But during the Festival of Fools, Quasimodo, cheered on by his gargoyle friends Victor, Hugo, and Laverne, decides to take part in the festivities, where he meets the lovely gypsy girl Esmeralda and the handsome soldier Phoebus. The three of them find themselves ranged against Frollo's cruelty and his attempts to destroy the home of the gypsies, the Court of Miracles. And Quasimodo must desperately defend both Esmeralda and the very cathedral of Notre Dame. watch trailer Release Date: June 21, 1996 __________________

I agree, I think films and TV shows should be geared for children and adults (Some of the kid shows I've seen now is horrible. Like what is this trash? It's hard to sit through if I have no choice) then you can enjoy it differently no matter what age you are. I also agree it is kind of refreshing to have villains you don't see coming as opposed to them basically screaming that this is the villain (Even though most of them are still great villains regardless) but it's a double edged sword cause I still think most of the villains in older Disney villains are better than some of these soft and wack villains lol.

I wouldn't put it past them at this point. They're well on their way to making all the animated classics into live action. Yeah, there's something so special about the more villain of the villains. Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, Maleficent, Cruella, Ursula, Jafar, Scar, etc. They're all iconic and all great villains. __________________
