Frozen officially hits 2 more milestones this weekend.
Frozen overseas numbers are updated and it officially passes Toy Story 3 to become the highest grossing animated movie ever, it also passed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest to enter the all time worldwide top 10 at #10 (for now) Frozen now has $1,072,053,875 worldwide. SOME SPOILERS FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET!
I finally just watched Frozen!  OMG it was.......amazing. I have no words. The animation is way above the standards of other recent Disney computer animated features, it was stunning.   The story was engaging and thrilling, all the characters were fantastic, I loved all the voices and most of all, I LOVED the songs. Of course I wasn't really expecting anything less from all the hype and admiration it received, not to mention the Oscars with the best song to Let it Go. I'm so glad I stayed away from any spoilers and didn't listen to any of the songs before watching the movie, because it all came as a lovely surprise. Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel have wonderful voices, I don't think I've heard either of their singing voices before so that also was nice. I loved Anna, she's so funny, spunky and awesome. I've fallen in love with Olaf. He's the most adorable snowman ever, and really funny as well.  Elsa's ice castle was so gorgeous to look at. The whole scenery of Arendelle was breathtaking. I actually wasn't expecting Hans to turn out to be the real villain, he was so cute when he and Anna were singing Love is an Open Door together.  I don't think I ever remember being surprised at a plot character twist in a Disney film before. Hans never acted anything but a friendly, formal Prince with good values. Guess I was just as fooled as Anna was.  Kristoff is cute. And Sven his Reindeer is even cuter. I tried looking out for Flynn and Rapunzel and the other Disney references and Easter Eggs that were left in the film, and I kind of knew at which points in the movie they were in, but I think I blinked and missed them. Never mind, 'cause I know I will be watching Frozen many, many, many more times. __________________

I can now see why they have put Frozen in the same category as films such as The Lion King and Beauty & the Beast. It's an instant classic in every sense of the word.

Watched this on Sunday. I really enjoyed it. Loved the songs, especially the 'Let It Go' one. The story and the characters were all great too.
