I liked this movie alright - I liked Reese a lot but I wasn't a fan of Mark Ruffalo  I loved Reese's hair in this movie - there's one scene where she's in her scrubs, and she just looks so adorable!

Aw, I like Mark. I think it was more so just the idea of the movie that just didn't really work for me.

YES! Reese's hair in this movie was love. :sigh: I've always thought that. Especially here...

Hello one of my favorite hairstyles ever.

Aw, right? She looked super adorable there. Lovely hair.

And I watched this on YouTube last night. Still not a great movie, but a sweet one. "Maybe if you could really touch me, I might wake up from all this." <3

Yeah - it's alright for me to watch every now and then. I think my main issue is that I really don't feel much chemistry between Reese and Mark...I just don't see the romantic attachment  I do like Reese in it, though, and I love how she can go from being all sassy with an attitude in Mark Ruffalo's face to those sad moments where she kind of loses hope :(

I should probably watch it again soon. I haven't seen it in a couple of years. I want to form a real opinion of it.

I didn't mind Reese and Mark's chemistry. It wasn't OMGZ amazing, but it was sweet.

And you get on that, Meg! Hee.

I love this movie and Reese did such a good job as Elizabeth. It had to be hard to act around people who mostly ignore you while filming and she had to wear the same oufit too. I like romantic comedies and Reese does such a good job with any material she's given, even when it seems implausable.

I definitely agree, this movie had to be awkward for Reese (and Mark) at times. It's not a favorite of mine, but I still enjoy it, for sure.

That's a really good point - you don't really have a lot to work with when you're supposed to be invisible to basically everyone.

On another note, Reese looked so cool in scrubs and her doctor's coat

Hee! She really did. I remember Reese saying it was like a dream come true for her dad, because he always wanted her to be a doctor like him. Haha.

This movie hasn't been in my dvd player for probably over a year... I remember the Dr. thing with her dad. That was really cute!

keep the starlight 10-09-2009 03:17 PM

Aw, you should watch it, Jor! Reese would definitely approve. ;)

Jojo 10-12-2009 10:59 AM

I probably will eventually. The North & South miniseries has occupied my dvd player lately.

keep the starlight 10-17-2009 10:26 PM

Aw, well hopefully you can soon enough! Every once in a while I get the itch to watch this one, but it doesn't come nearly as often as it does with LB or SHA.
