When David (Mark Ruffalo) sublet his quaint San Francisco apartment, the last thing he expected - or wanted - was a roommate. He had only begun to make a complete mess of the place when a pretty young woman named Elizabeth Masterson (Reese Witherspoon) suddenly shows up, adamantly insisting the apartment is hers. David assumes there's been a giant misunderstanding, until Elizabeth disappears as mysteriously as she appeared. Changing the locks does nothing to deter Elizabeth, who begins to appear and disappear at will - mostly to rebuke David for his personal living habits in her apartment.

Convinced that she is a ghost, David tries to help Elizabeth cross over to the "other side." But while Elizabeth has discovered she does have a distinctly ethereal quality - she can walk through walls - she is equally convinced that she is somehow still alive and isn't crossing over anywhere. As Elizabeth and David search for the truth about who Elizabeth is and how she came to be in her present state, their relationship deepens into love. Unfortunately, they have very little time before their prospects for a future together permanently fade away.

i love this movie, it's so cute and makes you believe in destiny. i keep watching the gag reel over and over again, it's hilarious :lol:

I love this film!!!it remember me Serendipity,my favourite movie...and I cried a lot!cause here at first he doesn't notice her,she was a 'bad vision',and then,when she woke up she didn't notice him at first...and this is the good part cause then,destiny made them meet again each other,and they find they love the other one in a special way...this is fate!and it has something special into,it really made me cry...I don't know why but I loved it from the moment I saw the trailer in tv with 'you're beautiful' of james blunt hearing...!I love all the movies she makes,really!!

Great movie. Then again all the movies she makes are great. I never knew the previous title of this movie was going to be "If only it were true." I like 'Just like Heaven' better anyways. ;)

In italy we have this title,for this reason at the beginnin I didn't know how to say it in english...but,honestly,I don't like the change of the title from country to country...and the worse thing I think was made with the film 'she's all that',where here,in italy,was translate still in english!but with this title'kiss me'...I think it doesn't have sense...anyway,title or not,this movie is fantastic!

This movie is cute and funny. I like the gag reel too.

I loved 'Just Like Heaven' so much. Reese was hilarious and she had great chemistry with Mark. The end totally slayed me, when she started fading away. Sigh.
