I actually liked this movie. I've had people tell me that they didn't like it and that some did. But I thought Reese was good in it. And perfect for the part. She has that quick wit, which in the novel is exactly how Becky is.

yeah, i liked this movie too. Reese definitely had the quick wit to play Becky which was excellent.

I actually haven't seen this yet. I'm not really into films that are set in that time period, but I need to watch it anyway. It is Reese after all.

Oh yeah you should watch it. Even if you aren't into period pieces. I'm not into it that much but I kinda liked this one. Reese being in it helped a lil bit too. lol.

I love period pieces.
And I remember watching it a few years ago so when I saw it was on at Christmas I was estatic! Haha.
I thought Reese did an amazing job. Very believable.
I loved how they tried to hide her pregnancy and it just doesn't work, at all.
Although I want to read the novel just so I can compare the two..

I thought about reading the book but it was 900 pages so I watched the movie instead, lol. It wasn't my cup of tea but it's probably one of those movies where it's better the second time around.

We watched this in English sophomore year, and I definitely did not care for it. It's my least favorite of hers.

Moving on...I've never seen this movie either. When I saw the previews I thought it looked good and I really thought that it was gonna be a good movie for her. Then it kinda bombed and I heard bad things about it so I never saw it...

I do remember seeing the preview and thinking maybe I would like it (mostly because of Reese, though), but I never ended up watching it. Maybe I will someday.

I do really like that cap, though. Super pretty.
