SOA runs for an hour and a half, so it records from 7p until 8:30p. Marvel's Agents of SHEILD runs from 8p-9p.

Wait, SOA is no longer an hour show? They upped it to 90 minutes?

I just got an email alert that season 5 of SoA has been added to Netflix instant. Go start your marathon now!

Completely relevant post topic because Chibs is Scottish. The End.

About fraking time. I'll have to do the SOA catch up next weekend. I caught up on Peaky Blinders. I'm mad that Campbell shot Grace And Chibs was a manipulative a--hole in PB.

I was really disappointed in Chibs' character, too. And I wanted Tommy and Cillian to have more than one scene together. On the upside, I liked the Tommy/Arthur bonding at the end of the episode (Oh, and I won't tell you what, but something in that PB episode is ripped right out of a season 5 SoA episode! )

I wasn't so happy with the Tommy/Grace/Campbell resolution either. That whole final episode was kind of let down. It was like they spent so much time building up to the big climactic show down and it was a total flop. Nothing happened, no one major was killed (except the guy who had already "died" once.) Tommy wasn't even all that angry at Grace, which I thought was complete bull. No way would he have just let that roll off his back. Not to mention that the moment he figured out who and what she was, was kind of a throwaway.

Basically, I figured Grace would be killed at the end, but I didn't see it going down in such an unimpressive way. I thought she might die for Tommy or that he'd kill her. Either of those would have been sad, but I would have enjoyed them dramatically. Instead, Tommy was mostly OK with her betrayal and Campbell just went bonkers...

What I'm most disappointed about with Chibs is that he and Tommy didn't get much to do together. I mean, it's great that we got more insight into Arthur, but I would've loved to see CIllian and Tommy F act against each other. I don't even mind that Chibs was an ass, I just wanted more confrontation between him and all his whole family.

What did you think about the youngest brother almost marrying the prostitute? I was like, girrrrrl, Tommy is so clearly testing you. You're supposed to refuse the offer.

I hear you on everything about the final episode. The final battle was a bit anti-climatic. As much as I loved Ada being a boss, there was no huge shootout. Kimber went down real quick. And Campbell just went crazy. Also, I needed more between Tommy & Grace to believe they fell in love.

Exactly. I want him to come back, but seeing how his story was resolved, I don't think we'll see him again.

I thought it was sad. I even felt sad for Tommy as he was testing her and she failed. I don't think he really wanted her to fail.

But the gypsy girl was a major upgrade, so all's well that ends well.

Ada being awesome was the only silver lining, but I still think it would have been better with an actual shootout.

I actually can believe Tommy/Grace fell for each other; what I can't believe is that Tommy would forgive her betrayal so quickly.

I thought Tommy was going to pull a Michael Corleone and kill his brother when the money was stolen.

Oh yea, I don't think Tommy wanted her to fail either. But John seems to like gypsy girl and gypsy girl likes him, so it'll be a better fit.

Just movie Karl (the baby) out of the way before the shootout happens. No killing babies allowed.

I guess it's like what the aunt said. If a guy's dick points like a compass to a particular woman, he'll forgive anything.

That is why Aunt Polly is the HBIC.

I didn't want Tommy to be like other men, but I guess he is underneath all the bravado.

Aunt Polly is the best. I think I like the female characters more than the men.

Tommy is a man with needs and the hookers aren;t satisfying him anymore.
Grace and Tommy are like Jax and Tara. He's the outlaw, she had a good job. Now these women who are not criminals have to learn how to deal with a criminal s.o.

I doubt I would like Tommy very much if it wasn't Cillian playing him. Cillian brings a depth and gravitas to Tommy that not many others could ever hope to achieve.

I can see the Jax/Tara comparison, but I don't like Grace a quarter as much as I like Tara.

I'm also beside myself right now, because the current season of SoA hasn't been an easy watch as a Jax/Tara fan. Especially the last couple of episodes. Ugh. It's so bad.

Cillian is my main reason for giving a damn about Tommy too. I'd probably still root for the PB if another actor played him but not as eagerly.
I'm not a huge fan of Tara/Jax. I always thought she could do better.

As it should be. Since we would have never watched the show in the first place if Cillian wasn't the star.

I can't disagree. Tara's story is pretty tragic, especially now. When I think how promising her life was at the start of the series... But, since I am a fan of Tara's, I wanted her to have the things she wanted, which generally included Jax.

I don't know if that's the case anymore though... And believe it or not, I actually kind of feel worse for Jax atm.
