Would you want to work for a private college? I assume they make the most money out of all teachers.

Nah, I have zero interest in get a Ph.D. Community college teachers do well. At my last job, a math teacher would teach at a community college, too. The good thing is that there are a ton of classes offered from early in the morning to late at night, so it's easy to get a schedule that works for you like that coworker did. He made a lot of money with those two jobs.
