I think we can get some great future titles from the soundtrack listings.
I almost went with something about the magic pin but couldn't think of something creative.

:yay: Thanks for the new thread, Steph. ;)

I think the song names would make great future thread titles. Loving the current choice, especially. :D

I don't get what the song is about, but I love it. And I love how Curt performs it.

We'll have to ask Iggy Pop what the song's about.

I think it's about being in the spotlight, but who knows. :D

BehrItAll 11-12-2009 09:18 PM

That sounds plausible, about being in the spotlight.
Though I only know the chorus :look:

LilMouse 11-13-2009 08:38 AM

being in the spotlight makes total sense. IDK if Iggy would know what it's about since he was most likely high when writing it.

here's the lyrics
Lord
See that cat
Yeah I do mean you
See that cat
Yeah I do mean you
She got a TV eye on me
She got a TV eye
She got a TV eye on me, oh
See that cat
Down on her back
See that cat
Down on her back
She got a TV eye on me
She got a TV eye
She got a TV eye on me, oh
See that cat
Yeah I love her so
see that cat
Yeah I love her so
She got a TV eye on me
She got a TV eye
She got a TV eye on me, oh
Right on, right on, right on
See that cat
Yeah I love her so
see that cat
Yeah I love her so
She got a TV eye on me
She got a TV eye
She got a TV eye on me, oh

If "total sense" means "maybe a little sense" then I agree.

I've got my TV Eye on Ewan.

BehrItAll 11-13-2009 03:26 PM

 Yea, not much to the lyrics is there. Can't call it poetic.
I guess it is about being in the spotlight and Loving it.

We all got a TV Eye on Ewan ;)

LilMouse 11-14-2009 02:04 PM

somehow Iggy made a song that doesn't really get annoying despite the repeated lyrics.

BehrItAll 11-14-2009 08:15 PM

Maybe cause it is hard to understand what he is singing in the first place. :goof:

 It is a lot of screaming. But I like the guitar.

He needs to annunciate.

And when you annunciate, you spit. :rotfl:

 does sweating all over the stage count?

I'd say that Curt's version of the song really had nothing to do with the singing either. :eyebrows:
