Tuesday was my last day, so I planned to go to urgent care right after. But I've been checking on a daily basis to see if there were any doctor appointments available, and Monday morning I lucked out and saw that a doctor was now available, so I booked an appointment for right after work. I have bronchitis. And I show early signs of pneumonia, or that I am recovering from pneumonia, or that I had pneumonia and was going to get it again. Good to know that at least I didn't have pneumonia at the time. Was given antibiotics and cough syrup for 5 days, and if I don't get better within a week, to return for more examinations and meds. I think I should be good, though. I told my students on Tuesday the outcome of my doctor's visit, and they all said I deserved to be home, resting. It was the last day, so I sucked it up and went. I went to work feeling worse, so all good now.

Geez, at you having/or getting pneumonia. Good thing you went to the doctor and didn't keep waiting. Hope the antibiotics work fast and you don't have to return for more tests.
I still can't believe you didn't stick your students with a substitute while you were feeling bad.
