I haven't seen many of their games, tbh. So I haven't really suffered, but whoever came up with it was brave. It's a bit of an eye sore imo


I read all the books, I wanted to burn the last one because what a nightmare of a book that is. But yeah, not my thing Met some nice people through it, but such a mess of a series

What did JK Simmons win for? Though I don't particularly know who he is

I haven't even bothered to watch it, I saw a trailer and it didn't grab me at all.

It was brave indeed. And yes, it is an eyesore, my eyes started tearing up a bit after staring too long at the kits, but i guess that's the bad side of wearing contacts

He won for the film Whiplash. I haven't seen it, but i think it's about musicians. But I know that Miles Teller stars too, and that kind of stops me from wanting to see it And I think J.K. Simmons played in the old Spider-man series, but i'm not quite sure, i haven't seen him in much
Oh, yes, it's such sad news. Even though I haven't seen the old Star Trek, I felt so sad when i heard that too, because he is an icon and he has given a lot to the film industry, it's always sad when such people pass away

I think the last book was one of the few books that I actually threw across the room - as I was so annoyed with it

He's playing a drum/music instructor who's pushing his very talented student with questionable methods.

He's also been in a lot of shows (most notably probably Law & Order and The Closer), he was also in Juno and the Spider-man series


Sounds good, it's definitely not worth spending money on at the movies IMO. I went with a friend who wanted to see it, she's a Michael Keaton fan and even she said it was rather disappointing.

Oh, I see. I may give it a go at some point. But, this is the Miles Teller movie, isn't it? I can't say I'm a fan of him, so that's a bit offputting.

I think I vaguely remember him in Spiderman, though I wasn't a big fan of those movies (Maguire wise)


Being disappointed by a movie is so much worse than just not liking it. I think I'll give it a pass.

Yeah, JK Simmons was J. Jonah Jameson, which I thought he was perfectly cast for!

I'm so sad about Leonard Nimoy. I had to go watch the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins after I found out.

HELL YES I DID. What a game that was! I was actually talking with Gina (Fire_and_Flame) while watching it, and it was such a cracking game to watch. Hummels and Höwedes do amuse me how they go from friends to trying to tear each other to shreds to normal again. It was a good game though, imo, couldn't believe how many near-misses there were!

Was good for BVB to get Sven back on the field, too.

And let us not forget, AuBATeyang and ReusIN, which I laughed at for a good 10 minutes


ETA: watching BVB - Dresden: I can't believe this just happened. AGAIN.

It's a shame, really. World Book Day stirred up a bit of a storm here, when a mother let a 10 year old kid go to school dressed as Christian Grey because she saw 'nothing wrong with it' I'm both shocked and appauled. He even had cable ties.

It did seem that would be the outcome, it was sods law, wasn't it? But my gosh, it was a brilliant game for the neutral.

Same here, but it saddens me Auba got a yellow for it, and Reus should've got one, too - but the ref didn't see him. I get they have the 'no masks' rule an all, but gee, it was a celebration - calm down a bit. They weren't wearing it for the entire game (which, if I'm honest, I would PAY to see)

HE WAS SUCH AN IDIOT. I cannot believe he wasn't carding people, and he seemed so biased. I can't remember who it was, but all those tackles, the Reus situation and Ciro - and NOTHING. Yet, one of BVB makes a tackle and got called out for it?! So wrong, so very wrong.

That rule is kinda stupid, the players want to celebrate, what's wrong with having a little fun? Not celebrating for 5 minutes, but geez, the 'you can't even take off your shirt' stuff is totally out there.

The referee in this weeks game was also totally weird. Did you see the elbow against Ciro? I mean, how did that not lead to some kind of card? And don't get me started on the Bayern game, that referee was a joke.
