Aidan Turner (born 19 June 1983) is an Irish film and television actor. He is perhaps most notable for playing a vampire, John Mitchell, in Being Human (since 2009), a drama-comedy television series first aired on BBC Three, a United Kingdom television network.

I've only seen him in being Human so far but I am enjoying him there immensely.

I don't really know yet. We're shooting The Hobbit for a good year and a half - until midway through 2012 - but I think I get six weeks off, so we might work something out.

oh man. Aidan don't leave the show

the fandom is torn about it. we're all THRILLED he got Kili's part but at the same time if he's not gonna be in the show it might as well end. it wouldn't be the same without him. thanks so much for the interview, checking it out now! i want to watch The Romantics for him.

I really don't know, but PJ sure has a good hand when it comes to picking handsome actors

I've only seen the first two episodes of Being Human so far, definitely like what I've seen though.

Here's hope they'll be able to work something out so that he'll be able to still be on BH

I hope he doesn't quite playing Mitchell. I haven't watched the 3rd series yet but he is my favorite. I was so happy to see he got this job though, amazingly talented guy and really, really cute because I know it will make his career take off. Still, the thought of him not being on Being Human makes me sad.
