Oh man, I just the clip from ROTK EE. I love the E/F scenes. I love their story in the book. Too bad the HoH scene wasn't able to make the cut in the movie. It's my favorite park in the book.

I haven't posted in a long time. I'm very excited about the EE. Next Tuesday, I'll probably go to the store as soon as my SO gets out of work to buy it. Then while he's doing is training bike ride, I'll take a tour of the new scenes. And we will probably watch the movie later on that night too.

I'll be able to rent it at the videostore where I work as soon as it arrives Thursday. I so can't wait! Do you guys realise that we had to wait an extra year to get the real Farawyn goodness? It is a long time.

Okay, guys, the first thing I did when I got home with the movies is that I checked for the Farawyn scenes. Okay SPOILERS ALERT












....Don't freak out guys, because I haven't checked everything that's on those four discs, but in the movie, Faramir and Eowyn have basically two relatively short but extremely well done scenes together: the first one has a beautiful music in the background as Eowyn gets healed by Aragorn and then, the montage makes it look like this is what happens over a couple of days, as we next see Eowyn getting out of bed to look out on her sort of balcony window on a moonlit night and this is when Faramir sees her. The second one happens after a few scenes and by that time, Eowyn and Faramir seem familiar enough with each other. It's that famous "I do not believe that this darkness will endure" scene. It is so sweet the way they look at one another and hold onto each other! So, okay, there's no kiss at all in the movie but the scenes we have are really well done, you'll see! I'm just glad that we got to see some interaction between them at all. I think that it makes the trilogy even better. So, anyway, I wish I had a photobucket to show the screencaps of the scenes. I hope you will all feel like I do right now seeing those scenes. Have a good night y'all and celebrate! We have our RoTK EE!

Just adding another comment: David talks about the bath story about him and Miranda on the cast commentary when the Houses of Healing are playing. It is so funny because he tells the story in such a plain voice!

About the E/F scenes, well, in his commentary, PJ said that he shot little epilogues for characters such as Legolas, Gimli, Faramir and Eowyn (probably the rumoured wedding we had been hearing about) but he simply decided not to put them on the EE.

Gah! It is a shame that poor souls such as myself have to wait until Christmas to have the EE in my hot little hands. But a plus? I get to view a little of it tomorrow courtesy of my friend. I am super excited to see all the Farawyn-ness.
