Hi Everyone! I'm new. I just wanted to come by and spread my love for Faramir and Eowyn. I loved their romance in the books and was so bummed when they had their scenes cut out of Return of King. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait five years.

I haven't posted here in a long time but I just dropped in to say how much I love the extended scene in RotK of F/E. It was everything I could have hoped for.:sigh:

Hey you guys! :wave: Hope you're all doing well. Just like you, I love those extended scenes in ROTK and as a matter of fact, I plan on watching the whole extended trilogy sometime soon. Now that I'm on vacation, I plan to enjoy my wonderful DVD collection that I have been extending throughout the year.

I watched the EE again last night so that brought me out to post.

When Eowyn and Faramir first see each other at the HoH and it's all dark outside, she looks so amazing. Lucky man.

All the extended scenes with Eowyn were beautifully done. When that cut song plays and Aragorn heals her wounds and then Faramir sees her, it's so lovely - a pure, true connection.

Does anyone know if they ever filmed the part where Eowyn realizes her feelings for Faramir and then they proceed to kiss?

Awww, these two are so cute together!

I loved the deleted scene where Eomer was holding Eowyn when he thought she was dead...I love that brotherly protection. :)

It was very sweet...alot of Eowyn's very sweet scens got cut out in the trilogy, the dream, the stew, and her healing.

I heard that a E/F wedding was filmed! Too bad it didn't make the cut!! Darn you Peter Jackson!

Maybe if that ultimate edition ever comes out we will get to see it.

An ultimate edition is coming out. :D Elijah Wood mentioned it in a couple of recent articles.

He said that he thinks more behind the scenes stuff will be added, including his famous audition tape.

Faramir and Eowyn's wedding did get filmed--I remember hearing reports of Phillippa Boyens being so excited about it.
