She's such a cool character - a bit hot-headed maybe, but she still has couple thousand years until the Galadriel we see in lotr...

I think the actress was a pretty amazing find to portray young Galadriel.

The only person missing from her life is Celeborn, but he will arrive in s2 I'm pretty convinced

Yep, Elrond actually marries Galadriel's daughter at some point in the future

But I'm sure that with Halbarand being revealed with his true person, we will meet Celeborn too, and learn about his background too...

Yes when you look into Tolkien more it's surprising to find out these things. It's not spoken about hardly at all in the book that Galadriel is Arwen's grandmother.

That brings back to mind that I adored little girl Galadriel with her small swan-boat in the first episode - the young actress seemed such a good fit, and I loved the conversation that child Galadriel had about the light & dark...
