because of cannon, they cannot actually be a couple, as they are on opposing side, and Galadriel needs to end up with someone else... but we can all agree on them being the show's imaginary OTP... no one will fight you on that Also, welcome to the board  __________________

That has its perks.
Book canon relationships can change in film/series adaptations, especially if the nature of the relationship isn't crucial in the book. However, we know that isn't the case here. So, I guess most of us don't have too high expectations and will be happy with what we can get until Celeborn shows up. That makes the fanbase more united in shipping. Coming from HotD, it's nice to see some calm among shippers for a change At the same time, it makes ship baiting unlikely. I mean, how much can they fool us when we all know Sauron and Galadriel can't have a full-blown romance, lol? And thank you! __________________

Daanngg I wanted Draco and Hermione too… we could have them there but here we know we can’t have anything romantic, it would get backlash too imo so writers wouldn’t want that, they are already getting stupid hate and critics from fans about the lore like they know everything
I think Tolkien missed an opportunity here but he is not a romance or couple writer, he writes dark & light in different ways so this is definitely not his style anyways. except for Beren & Luthien there is no love story focus in his telling imo. Love story or couple dynamics are so side events. Friendship is more important. In my mind Dramione happened somewhere after the 7th book, not including the epilogue
yes, I don't think that they will make them into a couple or anything, but we will be teased, as they have the right sort of chemistry for it... ... and I couldn't agree more about Tolkien - he just wasn't a romance writer, he may have them as side stories but never in details or with full on emotions... the only exception was Beren & Luthien really __________________
