There are several ways we can get Haladriel/Sauradriel and I mean realistically, with their remaining enemies and Galadriel ending up with Celeborn.

• Dream sequence showing unfulfilled desires
• Vision of an alternative future
• Manipulation, e.g., Sauron disguised as Celeborn
• Means to an end/part of a plan
• A forced kiss (I know most wouldn't like that, but technically it fits the Haladriel-without-changing-canon goal)
• an actual, conflicted moment of sharing of feelings which they'll obviously have to move on from later (we all have that moment of weakness)

They are in for 5 seasons, I really find it hard to believe none of the above will happen at some point and we'll only have a moment of romantic tension here and a mention that implies longing there, and nothing more. People who aren't fans of LotR are literally tuning in to watch after seeing Haladriel edits on social media, the showrunners know the ship's impact, heck they've been encouraging it exactly for this in the first place.

I mean for me they are kinda canon, ships have been considered canon for less. Halbrand wells up in front of her, clearly asks her to become his Queen, what else should he do, try a kiss? lol And now this season that they have separate arcs, they still think about each other, Galadriel especially does to a tormenting degree. The fact that it's described as a 'cosmic connection' and not romance makes sense, it's a fantasy series, Sauron is a higher being, and the equivalent to deep human feelings and codependency would be adjusted in his case. Also, their not ending up together or Sauron's having ulterior motives again don't take away from the canonicity of the ship.


And I agree, we need that glimpse of 'what if' Like, I kinda do think Middle Earth might have had a chance
