They went for a fresh face?

Plus younger Elrond has some thousanda of years of maturing to do before he becomes older version Elrond.

I think younger Elrond has been a good choice actor wise, even if he looks different from lotr Elrond...

I like this Elrond, but I the fact that he looked zero like the movie one bothered me a little

at least they could give him a dark brown wig (short is okay, just the color).

But I don't think I ever paid that much attention to his/their hair colour differences, I just took him as Elrond, and run with it...

... but books Elrond probably supposed to have a darker, almost black hair colour...

I don't mind that they went with a fresh face, but still.. the actors don't look anything alike, so it's hard to see this younger Elrond turn into the older one we knew.

Though I did like this Elrond too.

As long as the acting is spot on I don't have any issues with younger Elrond looking different from older Elrond
