Si, wow your dogs are HUGE! I love German Shepherds but that big of a dog is so expensive maintenance-wise. We used to take care of a Siberian Husky before and it was tough cause the 1 kilo of dog food is finished within 2 days. My toy poodle AND Boston Terrier takes about a week to finish that 1 kilo. Also toy poodles eat very little so you kinda save up with them when it comes to food. Grooming though is where I spend a lot on him. :sigh:

Jen, that's the problem when we have dogs with a lot of hair, the grooming. :( At least my Boston Terrier needs little grooming but the Toy Poodle needs to be groomed every 2-3 months. It's reverse with them, the BT eats a lot, the poodle not-so. Grooming is very little with BT but with the poodle it's a lot.

Cece, enjoy your 3-day weekend! :woot:

I have so much bills to pay today. I'm already bankrupt. :(

:yay: I love Fridays!! Hope you're all having a great day! Any plans for the weekend?

Yeah Lindsay, they are HUGE!! They do eat a lot  And the youngest one is a little devil, he wrecks and destroys anything he sees :thud: Now I learn that things I don't want him to touch I gotta use something with citric scent and he just stays away. The good thing with my big ones is that I don't spend that much on grooming
Sorry about the bills!! I hate them!! Specially when it comes the end of the month and I got credit cards bill

I finally have a actual weekend :yay:

I still work Monday but that is holiday pay and I can live with that, its their overtime and holiday pay they are giving me so I don't mind ;)

they tried making me work on next Saturday for the guy that always requests off, I told them no and he asked why, but I have told them multiple time why I won't work for him and this time I said find someone else and stood up for myself.

Si_Crazy 05-26-2017 12:37 PM

:yay: I'm so happy that you're finally getting the whole weekend off, Jennifer!! You deserve it!!

And kudos for standing up for yourself and not letting that guy take yet another day off from you :D

Do you have plans for the weekend?

TFTNT Si. :flowers:

Si, how old are your dogs? That was our problem before when we had the dogs, they tend to destroy things. So we ended up buying them chew toys instead and that worked. And yeah, credit card bills for me too. I usually pay that every month end. It's extra tough for me because I pay my insurance this month + November (I opted for a semi-annual payment). :(

Jennifer, so you won't be working next Saturday then?

I ordered take-out for my lunch today and this Shakey's pasta tastes horrible. WTF.

Thanks for the new one :yay:

Thanks for the new thread, Si! :)

I went ahead and did a discussion assignment last night (for my grad class) so didn't get to make a round here, but I have time today to post on all my regular visited boards. :D I want to do another discussion assignment tonight and keep on being one day ahead. :wiggle:

That's great Jennifer!

Si_Crazy 05-27-2017 11:02 AM

No problem, girls :)

Lindsay, one of my dogs is 7 and the other will be one next week :D We tried chew toys for the youngest one, but he destroy it and anything else he can put his teeth in
Credit card is so tricky because I never realize that I spent that much until the bills arrive
Sorry about the pasta  It sucks when we order food and it's not good.

:yay: for being ahead on your assignments, Cece!! :woot: It's great when you're one step further. Hope you keep it up :woot:

I'm happy that you guys are stopping daily  really appreciate that! :D

nope it will just be a normal day off, and on that Sunday I have a friends baby shower to go to in IL

tomorrow is my birthday and me, dad, and his girlfriend are going to the good Japanese restaurant in town. I'm looking forward to some good sushi

me, mom, grandma, and grandpa went to red robin for and early birthday dinner tonight :D

mom gave me money for my birthday and I'm going to start getting my nails done

yeah I had enough of him trying to always get me to work his shifts for him. the new girl starts sometime next week she can deal with that because I'm done and they know that.

Cece, I don't know how you do it. School, work, 3 teams here on FF then your boards.

Si, awww your dog is just 1 so it's understandable that he'll destroy everything at this age. Older dogs are more calm though. Although the BT is still very playful and always likes his belly rubbed.

Jennifer, enjoy your birthday celebrations and :birthday: to you! :D

Si_Crazy 05-28-2017 01:07 AM

Ohh Happy Birthday, Jennifer!!  It's nice to see that you already started celebrating it :D And :yay: for manicures, it's a great gift :woot:

Yeah, we cut the younger dog some slack because we know he is still too young, but in reality he is spoiled  Like the new baby in the house that can get away with anything  But I can't help it, he just looks at me with those little eyes and that face and I cave

Cece really is very very busy :thud:

Guys, by the way, if you haven't already, we could really use a few more votes in our Icon Challenge at Fan Art, so if you could help us and vote I'd really appreciate it :flowers:

I love Red Robin. One of my favorite burger restaurants. Enjoy your birthday festivities, Jennifer!

For me, attitude has been a huge part of making it all work. You see, I am hardly ever stressed. I always tell myself to stay positive. Also I am very happy with my highly organized system of doing things. Plus, I just love being busy so to me it doesn't seem out of the ordinary. :P Busy is part of living life. I am never bored if I am kept busy. I always have something to do! I think sometimes we underestimate ourselves and what we can do. ;) I have a great support system too, including friends, family, colleagues, and my professors at my university who push/encourage me to never stop. :in_love: Lastly, I am not in a rush to find a boyfriend/husband or have children of my own, so I can better focus on school, work, and my hobbies like Fan Forum and my TV shows, movies, music, etc.

My Kind Of Crazy 05-29-2017 08:46 AM

hope you had a great birthday Jennifer

sorry i wasnt around, yesterday i went to the movies, and then afterwards i got a horrible migraine that lasted the rest of the night :(

today i woke up with a terrible sore throat :(

bengirl25 05-29-2017 10:20 AM

oh yes me and mom love red robin :D

my nail look nice but they are a bit long so Friday or Saturday I am going to go to the place I wanted to go first and have them fix the length and do a different color. the guy at the place I went didn't paint them how I wanted and they are kind of uneven and longer then my liking, plus I think he overcharged me, and a friend goes to the place I wanted to go and they do a better job and have better reviews ;)

dad ended up making big rib eye steaks for dinner with sweet potatoes, and broccoli

Si_Crazy 05-29-2017 05:04 PM

 Hi everybody! Hope you've had a great day :D

Cece, I love your way of leading your life!! :high_five: I think that's the best approach to keep busy and moving forward to really succeed in all areas.

Jen I hope you feel better soon :flowers:  What movie did you watch?

I love getting my nails done, Jennifer :) I'm happy you're enjoying yours, hopefully the other place will make it just the way you want :D
Yummy dinner!! :D
