of course we do. although today he made it hard. we were cleaning the house. trying to put away some of the xmas stuff. and we noticed we hadnt seen the dog in a while. he wa under the sofa in the back room and somehow ate a hole underneath it and got out a bunch of the stuffing from inside the couch. he had stuffing everywhere

OMG!!! I imagine how mad you must've been... but reading about it and just picturing it just makes your dog seem kind of like an adorable little devil

Tonight people are throwing fireworks nearby and my dogs are so scared

yeah he is a devil alright

yeah people are already starting with the fireworks and my dog is cuddled up on my lap scared. he does not like loud noises. and these are just small ones that people are doing in their backyard. the real ones will be later tonight and much much louder.

Ohh it was tough on my dogs... the loud noises of the fireworks really made them scared one of them was shaking really bad

surprisingly we didnt really get that many loud ones last night. just a few small ones. i was actually asleep by 11:30 and the dog didnt wake me up with the fireworks which is shocking. he did wake me up later in the night though after that was long over

I live in the middle of the country so it's very sporadic It'll stay quiet for much of the night and someone down the road will fire them off for 20 minutes straight

Back from my holiday break so I'll need time to catch up here on FF. I need to go back to the gym, I ate so much these past few weeks.

Our Boston Terrier was shaking so much as well. But he's fine when there's a person around. You can't leave him on his own on NYE he will freak out. Our Toy Poodle was super scared as well. He wasn't shaking but he wants to be held and sitting on your lap the whole time. That's the cuddliest he has been and he's normally not a cuddly dog.

Welcome back, Lindsay! I need to get back to the gym and my usual eating routine I always step out of line during the Holidays

Yeah, the loud noises of fireworks really scare them... my dogs got inside the living room (which my mom never allows to) shaking and so freaked out... they actually only really got back to normal yesterday afternoon, they were very weary of everything

Jen, hope you managed to rest! And I'm glad that you didn't get many loud ones that was not my case here
It's basically the same for me, Mark... quiet for a while, than several minutes of loud fireworks all at once not a fan of those

yeah usually its very loud and people parting till late in the night. but i think cuz we have such cold temps right now, nobody wants to party and set off fireworks. so we had very little go off here. much quieter this year. which i was happy about. cuz i was never a fan of them and i know my dog was happy too.

ill be glad to trade you. i hate this cold weather so much. i feel like this should be some sort of record with how low the temperatures are here right now. i dont ever remember feeling this cold before
