I didn't like this ep so much. But this ep is directed by Emmy-winning Miguel Sapochnik who is a Game of Thrones director and has directed 4 episodes on the show, 3 of which were excellent to watch so I was still excited.

I felt like all the drama with how Danny wanted back in his company was pulled out really fast in this ep. All of a sudden Harold said it was okay for him to be back? I'm not sure what Harold's end game is but I felt like him being too chummy with Danny was so questionable that it was a relief to hear Ward say what was in my thoughts: that Harold was only thinking of himself. Although now it makes sense why he's alive. The Hand, who basically resurrected Elektra in DD S2. As a payback, he's being used as a puppet by the organization to look for the Iron Fist - the warrior that was 'created' to destroy them.

I didn't also like the whole Joy kidnapping part. I was like "so now Danny has to fix this and save the girl". Who were those goons apart from wanting to get back at Joy for a broken deal? I'm kind of glad The Hand (or was that Harold, I was hoping it was Nobu) sliced off one of the guy's head. I also didn't like how Danny just dropped Joy off at the Doju because technically he has no where else to go. Why is Colleen being side-lined like this? I know it's only 4 episodes but I think at this point, she's become my favorite character because everything that she's done, her decisions, have been what I expect of the character. I kind of cringed when I saw Joy throwing some punches. She knows how to fight? I mean okay, she threw some punches in the elevator scene but I didn't really see her as someone who can fight like Trish in JJ for example who trained for it.

Speaking of, another wonderful fight in the arena with Colleen. The worst was her pinkie being broken which Danny straightened out. This is probably the episode that I saw some sparks between them. So far, I'm glad that the show isn't doing a love triangle between Danny/Joy/Colleen even if at times it may seem like it. I just want Danny & Joy to be friends and nothing more. The hallway and elevator fight scene was good but I kind of wanted to see the choreography of the fights so the elevator scene didn't work for me because it was dark/colored red.

And lastly, now that he's back in Rand, I just kind of feel that it's empty. That I'd rather see him teach at the Doju with Colleen rather than do desk work with Ward & Joy. And I felt a bit annoyed that while he does own 51% of the company, he's kind of using it to his advantage. I know he means well and he did mean well selling the medicine at cost but he doesn't have to dangle that fact around in meetings, for example.

I will watch more episodes tomorrow.

Danny does feel out of place at the company. You can still make decisions, yet not actually be there; which I feel is better for him. He just doesn't feel like a business type guy, like the siblings are.

I really enjoyed Colleen's fight. I didn't expect her to want two guys to be in the cage with her. But she managed to do very well, even minus a broken finger. I liked the scenes when Danny fixed it for her.

I didn't understand at first either why Harold was okay with Danny being back at the company, and making himself known to be alive. He didn't feel like he was doing it for Danny, but somehow, for himself in some way.
