- So Lex turned the sun red at some point four years ago… and no one ever once mentioned it?

- Lex was behind Lena working with the DEO? My guess is he’s buddies with the President.

- Alex, why are we telling strangers about top secret DEO stuff?

- Lex giving Lena a pep talk? Not sure if I can trust that…

- Supergirl just turned into iZombie. WTF?

- Awww, poor Brainy is having an emotional breakdown!

“Did I mention every one of my ancestors are evil?” Well, it’s about time someone mentioned the Brainiac legacy. I'm still hoping we get Brainiac 4 (Brainy's mother) at some point.

- Okay, so - at first Manchester wanted to kill the anti-alien people, but now he just wants to kill everyone? That makes no sense.

I did like the small nod to his telepathic powers in the comic though (one of his powers is that he can make people "see" things to manipulate them).

- Why do I have a feeling that Manchester isn’t actually “dead”? Glad J’onn got Brainy his ring back at least.

- I knew Lex had something to do with James being shot.

I also had a feeling that Lena’s sudden breakup with James came off kind of strange. I guess that feeling was right. It was because she feared Lex would go after him.

- Oh dear. Otis is still alive (does that mean Mercy is too?), and Eve is a traitor. Although the second part is not so surprising. Miss Tessmacheeeeeerrrrrrrrr has always worked for Lex.

- I was worried at first when they announced Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, but he’s exactly the way Lex should be! Fantastic episode.

I'm glad that I reserved my judgement, concerning Jon Cryer as Lex. He's no Rosenbaum, but he did a really good job as an older Lex. He's cold.

It's funny, I was surprised at first when it was revealed that Eve was working with Lex and then I remembered, oh wait, this happened in the Christopher Reeve films. Seeing Otis again, however, that was a nice surprise. Otis and Mercy were killed off so early in the season, it felt like a major letdown. Otis is back, please let Mercy be alive too.

Brainy and Nia kissed, Nia kissed Brainy!!

I always feels bad whenever J'onn suffers. It doesn't take much for me to start crying once he starts crying. J'onn, just remember you had to do what you needed to stop Manchester. Don't feel bad about it. I want to give him a virtual hug. It's okay J'onn!!!

That oddly written limo break-up scene between Lena and James makes a lot more sense now. Doesn't make it any better though. I can only imagine how James will react once he realizes that he has superpowers and Lena gave them to him.

Maybe Mercy is using an image inducer to look like Miss Tessmacher?

Another thought -- I'm trying to figure out why Brainy was so distraught over James being in the hospital when the two of them barely interacted on-screen.

I mean... I know James mentioned they regularly have "brunch" a couple episodes back, but we've never seen this brunch. The writers TELL more than they ever SHOW, and it's a huge mistake. The audience doesn't get nearly as invested as they should.

Yeah. From watching this episode yesterday it seems that it's a different version I guess of ''Lex Luther'' compared to the 1 on ''Smallville''. I certainly don't remember Lex having facial hair before.

I do wonder how long it would have taken someone to notice that James was shot & down on the floor if Supergirl did not have ''spidey sense'' I guess it's called or whatever her magical ability is to know just when people are apparently bleeding to death.

Also, did any of you know that Jimmy has a sister before watching this episode? I don't remember it being mentioned before on this show, which does seem odd sense this he's I think been on close to if not every episode of ''Supergirl''. It was mentioned that he doesn't want her visiting him if I remember correctly.

I wish J'onn well with his hallucinations, but I guess we don't get to see anymore of Manchester Black?

I hope that Lena survives being an apparent prisoner. Lex I guess has that place either booby trapped or set up with likely illegal hidden weapons as was shown where they just appeared & started shooting anyone within range. If anyone is a shipper of Lex & Kara, well I guess there is still a little hope left for them, but not much after seeing this episode. On ''Smallville'' I only remember Lex being with Victoria Hardwick & Lana Lang & I don't remember those relationships ending well. Curious to see what happens.
