You know a lot of celebs won't change their hair color for roles and some celebs don't look good with different colors. I've seen pics of Melissa, not blonde and she looks good in any other. I mean the blonde looks so natural on her.

I really excited to see and become more of a fan of her.

I really hope we'll get to see Kara learn powers still. Meaning, I hope they don't have her already have or know all her powers that we still get to see them. I'm assuming they'll probably show us her learning about her powers in flashbacks, but I'd still love to see adult Kara learn about new powers.

That was one of my favorite parts about Smallville - seeing Clark learning new powers and adjusting to them. I do hope we see some of that with Kara!

Cece, I know. I really hope we do. That's why I was saying, I mean I want to see Melissa as Kara learning them and just see her younger version learning them because I mean I'm sure there are probably gonna be some. I mean we don't know what all the powers she knows she has right now.

This is going to be essential during the show's run, I feel. If she instantly knows how to use all of her powers, it's gonna be unrealistic. Seeing Kara learn and adapt to her powers over time could definitely be a huge point of interest not only to the viewers, but it also could give the writers some unique situations to use in future episodes.

That's what I want to see. Her learning her powers. I guess she's already learned how to fly. Unlike Clark who took the whole series for him to fly. :lol:

Well I meant, is we don't know if she knows all her powers already that she might have learned about when she was a kid or what.

I'm used to like Smallville and Clark learning them but obviously that was his early years

How old is Kara supposed to be? I thought this was supposed to be about her early years, but based on the promos, she's already in her career. :lol:

I honestly think it would be a lost opportunity if she already knows all of her powers. Having one or two that would eventually come to light during the show's run would definitely add another dimension to the show, in my opinion.

Yeah, I think it would be pretty boring for her to have all her powers right away. Nothing to look forward to. Even Clark on "Lois & Clark" was still discovering some new powers as an adult. :lol:

I think she is about 24? She has been on Earth for like 9 years so I wouldn't see how she could have any powers to really discover. Rediscover maybe, but she should already know what her power set is.

Yeah, she's already flying and has a job so out of school already. We probably won't see her discovering powers like Clark Kent on Smallville - but perhaps rediscovering in the sense of better understanding the powers she has? Learning to use them. I'd like to see flashbacks of her discovering some powers though, definitely. :nod:

Yeah I can totally see her rediscovering her powers since they have been on pause for majority of her Earth life.

Exactly! I'm not saying I wanna see her as someone who's completely inexperienced, but a little struggle with her powers here and there would go a long way.

No worries, I wasn't sure if it made sense and I was typing a lot. Yeah, I mean I'm assuming she has the same powers as Superman right? So I feel like she might not know them all. From the promos we know flying and heat vision.
Part of me is also wondering how young did she learn about them as well?
I wonder if we'll get that answered.

I like this idea of them showing her rediscovering her the sense of them and everything and I think that goes with my question about how young did she learn about them
