I'm trying to figure out who he could be fighting based of the style the stunt man is using. It could be going to be Lucifer, which would make sense as they are in the penthouse. But it could equally just be a random thug or baddie of the week.

True.
I just can't help but imagine Dan beating on Lucifer if he turns up at the Penthouse in season 4 episode 1 if Chloe is either not with him or unconcious. No idea why that would happen given where they left it but the scene just played out in my head a now I kinda wanna see it |

Maybe. But, as Tavalah said, it might be whichever stunt man is the stand in for the charecter he's gonna fight.
It's been a while since I brushed up on fight training protocol but if they are on set it prob a last rehearsal so stunt coordinater more likely to be on one side watching to make sure they get it right while the performers go through the motions |
