Lucifer 6x01 "Nothing Ever Changes Around Here" Episode Discussion Thread

This was a really good premiere. Amenadiel and Linda need to stop hosting dinner parties they always end up in drama

But I love that Maze and Eve are engaged!

Hate that Dan is in hell but at least Luci visits him and has ensured he's not tortured.

Finally started it

Pretty good start of the season! loved all the Deckestar as usual

an maze/eve are so cute.

I'm loving Dan's storyline, can't wait till he can finally go to heaven. Poor Lucifer he has a lot on his shoulders

I liked Carol (love Scott Porter) and him and Ella are going to be adorable

Finally got around to watching the first episode of S6!

I don't think I'm ever going to get used to Lucifer calling Chloe by her name more now and not detective, since she's no longer a detective. But it's adorable and they're so freaking cute together

I love how Chloe found it difficult to not use her detective skills to try and solve yet one more case. I knew something would happen at the magic show. I like how they both seem to be stalling, and how Lucifer wants to spend as much time with her.

Ella seems to be happier now, seems there could possibly a thing with her and Carol? Enjoyed her conversations with Lucifer, particularly got a kick out of the NCIS reference from Lucifer.

Was surprised to see Dan, but I like that Lucifer is always checking on him and I like that he made sure Dan isn't being tortured in Hell. Playing table tennis with a fellow cop at the precinct over and over is very mild. I hope that Lucifer can find a way to send Dan to heaven soon. He's got a lot on his plate though!

Linda and Amenadiel hosting yet another dinner party. Always ends up in a bit of drama.

I loved how Linda subtly got Maze and Eve to out their feelings more. I wasn't expecting Maze to say she doesn't want to rule Hell after all and actually likes where she is now and being a bounty hunter, 'cause she's got Eve. But I like it, she had, all this time wanted to go home to Hell because she thought there was nothing there for her on Earth. But now she has Eve, and good friends and a job that she loves. So happy for Maze and Eve now they're engaged.

The end, ooh I wonder who is ruling Hell now, since it's not going to be Maze! Thankfully, I'm not spoiled and I'm determined to make sure it stays that way until I watch the next episode!

Great episode. I loved the opening, a direct parallel to the pilot and I loved that it was the same motorcycle cop. I love how this time, Lucifer was wearing a white suit instead of the dark suit he used to usually wear. He looks sooo good in that white suit!

I loved that too, she is a natural detective.

It was so funny how Amenadiel kept trying to stop Linda from pushing Eve and Maze to talk about things

The throwback to the pilot at the beginning was so great.

Me too! I’m so excited! I’ll be just watching one episode a week, I have to make it last, I’m not ready for this show to end quite yet!

I loved how Amenadiel tried to stop Linda from intervening too, Linda can’t help herself though.

The way he interrupted the tension between Maze and Eve to mention he’s going to become a police officer. I loved that Maze got a kick out of that news.

I did the season in about 3 days I think

I got a good

I'm usually really good about sticking to just one a week. I did it with S4 and S5 I can do it again.

I'm not ready for it to end and if I watch it all in one go it's ended way too quickly!

That's 10 hours of TV in one day! Omg I could not do that.

Most I ever watched in one day was like 5 episodes of Smallville. Now I like to make my TV shows last a bit.

It's not something I get to do often but I can spend hours upon hours curled up in front of a tv
