This episode was way better than the last one, definitely moving towards a good storyline now! I love that Lucifer wants to open up the gates but wants to stay on Earth. And the fact that he managed to tap into the pain of his home life and of his situation with Chloe to ignite the flame.

The case was interesting, too, and we got much needed Trixie/Lucifer interaction and omg Maze/Chloe in this episode :thud: :love:

I love Trixie with Lucifer. Them holding hands was :lol:

They are adorable :lmao:

This was an excellent episode, very emotionally heavy in some aspects but with that touch of humor we know and love to balance things out. I loved so many things about it, the character interactions between Lucifer/Trixie, Chloe/Maze, Lucifer/Amenadiel, and Lucifer/Mom/Amenadiel were all amazing. The scene with Lucifer tapping into his pain was amazingly shot, acted, the music used in the background was perfect, it made me get all teary eyed. Even the case was pretty interesting.

I like that the plot is moving forward, you can tell we're nearing the season finale and me thinks it's gonna be epic.

Agree with you 100%! I'm so excited about how this season is gonna end. They've done an amazing job building up this current storyline.

That they have! :nod: And I have the feeling they're gonna open up some really cool storylines for s3 at the end.

I sure hope so! I want more demons walking on Earth.

That gives me the visual of a bunch of demons walking through downtown LA in the middle of the night. I'd watch that. I think I'd be cool if they also introduced more of Lucifer's family.

I think that long wait was worth it, I have enjoyed BOTH episodes a lot since their return. This one was more emotional and moved the plot more, but I still loved Candy.

I can't wait to see where they go with this. Are we meeting "dad"?

I wasn't even necessarily thinking in the next episode. (is that Charlotte's husband?)

But by the end of the season. Will things end with them going back "up"?

I think something's gonna go wrong and they won't be able to go to heaven! But it's just a wild guess I honestly have no idea :thud:

Maybe they'll open the gates but won't be able to go in and they'll be a bunch of angels roaming the earth in s3 :shrug:

This is one of my favorite episodes!

I love the plot with the blade/sword, such well done emotional scenes. And the scenes at the school were all hilarious! Luci/Trixie & Chloe/Maze...

Anything with Luci/Trixie is normally a win for me. I love the way he treats her almost exactly the same as any of the adults when making deals with her. I'm just waiting for a future episode were she reveals she can drive a car because Lucifer makes good on his deal when Chloe isn't looking.

The relationship between Lucifer and Trixie is so fun and cute, I hope we get another episode like this one where we get to see them spend time together. I also loved seeing Maze and Chloe fake dating :lol:

This is my favourite Episode of season 2 for some many reasons. It does everything so well.
