- That's part of the reason I had kind of wished that they wouldn't have gotten back to Earth. Because they truly were a family and for them to realize that they were home amongst themselves. I know the writers had toyed with that idea but ultimately decided to send them home.

Perhaps they thought it would seem a bit cold to leave them stuck in the Delta Quadrant.

- For Voyager yeah probably, especially with the Bittersweet ending DS9 had.

Probably part of the motivation for having Neelix remain behind, even though Voyager had been his home for all those years.

Welcome to the board.

I'm not sure that I felt he was neglected, but I would have enjoyed seeing more of him.

Me too. I always enjoyed the scenes where he had to take over command when Janeway was off-ship or otherwise incapacitated.

- I completely agree! Have you read the relaunch books? Kristen Beyer's Full Circle has a heartbreaking portrayal of Chakotay in it. That made me love the character. I highly recommend it.

Their relationship was always something to look forward to watching in an episode.

- I remember back in the day when I would watch intently for any J/C moments. I remember being so giddy over the dinner scene in Timeless. If you would like to discuss J/C there is a thread dedicated on this forum for them.
J/C Thread.

So since this is the Voyager thread I thought I would ask what you favorite episode was and why?

One favourite? That's hard.

Blood Fever - for the interaction between Tom & B'Elanna

Body and Soul - the EMH in Seven's body was just priceless

The Q and the Grey - the opening scene with Q in Janeway's bed is just priceless.

Okay, I'll stop. How about you?

When thinking about favorite Voyager episodes five always come to mind for me.

Faces, Tuvix, Flashback, Before & After and Caretaker

Faces: The decisions that B'Elanna has to make about both sides of her heritage and putting herself back together is something that's always gotten to me, even fifteen year old me back when it first aired.

Tuvix: What the crew went through with their decisions about Tuvix being his own person and wanting Tuvok and Neelix back was so powerful.

Flashback: I really enjoyed seeing Tuvok's memories from when he was younger and I always enjoyed the Janeway/Tuvok relationship and this one featured it well.

Before & After: I've always liked the time travel episodes and definitely count this as one of them. (Having Tom and Harry as in-laws briefly in this alternate universe was a bonus, I always loved their relationship.)

Caretaker: It's just my favorite Star Trek series premiere. I loved how the team initially figured out how to work together.

I love that one too. Watching her discover the strength & determination that her Klingon side gives her, and appreciate the balance provided by the human side.

Any title suggestions for the next thread?

- I love that episode!

JR is great as the doctor! He has this amazing opportunity to enjoy the things he's never gotten to experience before. In the end they both learn from their experience. I made a few avatars from that episode.
