It did come out of nowhere, pretty much, which is the problem. At the last second they realized that coming back to Earth and scattering the Voyager crew would be a very sad ending of the show for Seven, and so they scrambled to give her a happy ending like everyone else.

Unfortunately, without laying the groundwork for this earlier in the show, it seems to have left most fans either outraged or at the least unimpressed.

Please, like Janeway would ever leave Seven alone for two seconds...

Seriously, I think the woman was obsessed with the resident Borg babe.

Exactly. I agree with Nikki though that Janeway would have maintained a relationship with Seven. They were always portrayed as having a personal attachment much more than you'd find between co-workers.

Sarah - in the beginning, I could have supported Seven & Harry, but over the course of her time on Voyager, I think she developed a much closer relationship with the EMH.

Chris I'm only referring to that one episode where he dreams about making out with her. I don't remember for sure though

Janeway was attached to Seven's huge rack, lol. I'm honestly not sure if that was an actor thing, but she could not talk to Jeri without looking at her boobs. There was a YouTube video that showcased it that never allowed me to look at them the same way again.

@ Nikki. They were hard to miss and Seven's uniform did nothing to conceal them.

When Seven first came aboard, Harry was definitely intrigued. I think he lost interest as he realized that she was such a strong personality.

Jeri went on to other roles, so obviously wanted to be taken seriously as an actress. Kind of makes me wonder why she didn't lobby for a more ... professional looking uniform. Although I suppose if I had her figure, I wouldn't mind accentuating the positive either.

What gets me is how they tried to justify the catsuit in commentaries on the DVD and interviews, how she was impowering women, not making them look ****ty. I was like, please.

The miniskirts in TOS were the height of fashion at the time. Form fitting catsuits have never been anything you'd see somebody walking down the street in.

That sort of bullcrap is really annoying.

She looked nice in the Starfleet uniform in one of the time travel episodes. I was always more a fan of the females in actual uniforms, T'Pol from Enterprise, Troi from TNG, Seven. I don't think we ever saw Kira from DS9 in a Starfleet uniform, but I bet I would have been a fan.
