So I finished up the first disc of Season Seven last night. I was highly dissapointed that we did not get to see a Tom/B'Elanna wedding, just them riding off in the Delta Flyer 2.0.

Totally agree that a proper wedding would have been nice. I was just glad to see them actually get married.

Maybe after you watch the finale you could drop by our crossword puzzle thread? All the clues are from Endgame, but we're kind of stuck.

Well I finished the final episode this morning. I'm a bit sniffly now that it's all said and done. I thought the finale had alot of ups and downs, I wasn't in the least a fan of the Seven/Chakotay pairing, but it's what it is I suppose.

I did love the glimpse of the future and how the Voyager crew were one big family who still got together, that was nice to see.

My heart kind of broke for the Doctor when Seven expressed to him that she already had someone to experience emotional things with. His long standing affection for her never seemed to go away and I hated that she didn't return the sentiment and instead went after someone she'd barely ever interacted with in the whole run of the show.

Other than the Seven & Chakotay pairing, which was totally out of the blue in the last few episodes, I found the Voyager finale satisfying. It's been a while since I've seen it though. I was hoping Space would air it last week, but they seem to have skipped over Endgame.

I have to admit that I loved seeing Voyager bursting forth from the Borg sphere and everyone at Starfleet shaking in their boots. That was an amazing scene.

I remember most of the scenes with Admiral Janeway and Captain Janeway being good.

Yeah I didn't care for the Seven/Chakotay thing. I would've been fine with it, even if I didn't like the coupling itself, if there had been some sort of hint that either of them had any sort of affection for each other beyond something professional. Other than that though I liked the finale. And I generally haven't been a fan of Star Trek finales.

You know I'm high up there on the "loves some slash" levels, but I hardly saw any of the Seven/Janeway slash that some people talk about. I mean if anything, I saw it as more Kate checking out Jeri's boobs constantly, not really Janeway sexin up Seven.

That being said, the finale was oh so gay with elder Janeway risking it all just to save Seven.

I would have accepted a Seven/Janeway relationship at the end way more than Seven/Chakotay. With slash it's interesting. Sometimes I can see where people are coming from and other times I think they might be slightly delusional. Janeway/Seven, I can see where people are coming from. That would've made more sense than Seven/Chakotay in my opinion.
