I think it was the end of August or early September that it closed.

Are you still watching Voyager, or have you seen them all now?

Maybe we'll still have a chance ...

Norm! Vegas Confidential

Quote:
Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and Neonopolis developer Rohit Joshi say the defunct Star Trek: The Experience attraction at the Hilton is moving downtown.

If it works it would be the biggest resurrection since the Enterprise crew found Mr. Spock's coffin on planet Genesis -- both for the Experience show and the troubled Neonopolis development.

Goodman let the news slip Thursday morning during a chat with reporters at City Hall.

Later Joshi, developer for the struggling Neonopolis mall on Fremont Street, confirmed a deal was close.

Yippie!

Yep I've finished all of VOY now, although I'd like to go back and rewatch the first two seasons since it's been a long time since I saw those.

Long story short, I owned Seasons One & Two on DVD and watched them years ago, then I just never finished the series until earlier this year, so it's probably been like at least five years since I've seen the first two seasons.

I don't own any of the Trek series on DVD. I've always found them to be expensive and I find it hard to justify spending much money on something that's already aired, and is still airing for that matter.

I got a decent price on the first two seasons but I ended up re-selling them.

Getting your money back out of them is good.

Well I was going through a phase where I looked at my loaded DVD shelf and thought, why do I need all of these? I go in spurts, lol.

Yeah, if you needed some cash, selling off some DVD's would be a quick, convenient way to get some.

See now I'm thinking, why am I buying new DVDs when everything is going to BluRay?

Yeah, but I don't have a Blu-ray player, so ... I"ll probably stick with DVD's for a while.

You'll have to let me know what you think of it once you've got it.

I wouldn't want to watch something in extremely poor quality, but as long as the picture and sound are decent ... not really sure that I'd care about having the best quality available. If that makes sense.

Well I'm wondering how the transfer will go considering none of the Treks were shot for High-Def, possibly Enterprise, but I doubt it.

I know they're doing Blu-Ray releases of the orginal series so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they release the other series.
